Discover What Your Child Can Do This Summer!
Foothill Country Day School offers Summer Programs that are open to the public, operating for 5 weeks. A full day of activities is offered, but parents may register for morning or afternoon only classes if they wish. The program fee includes T-shirts, daily snacks and FUN!
Morning Programs 8:15 am - Noon
KinderReady (incoming Kindergarteners): The perfect way to transition into full-day Kindergarten and adjust to a more academic environment. This class is taught by our regular Kindergarten teachers.
Leadership For Life (Grades 1-6): This unique entrepreneurial program challenges students to create, produce and market a product. They will practice and utilize leadership skills, language arts and math enrichment as they learn how to apply academic schools to real life endeavors like making a website and producing a commercial for their product.
Jump Start (Grades 1-8): This program is more academic in nature, as students strengthen and improve core areas. Reading, math, language arts, and handwriting skills are stressed in an environment that matches each child’s highest level of learning.
Mathletics( Grades 6-8): An enriching two hour math program for students entering grades 6 through 8 is combined with a two hour fitness program: a chance to strengthen mind and body.
Lunch Supervision: Noon - 12:30 pm
Afternoon Program 12:30 - 2:00 pm
Enrichment Classes: More than 20 different enrichment classes are offered in a wide array of subjects, including music, language, art and sports. Click HERE for the menu of classes available this year!
Extended Day Program: Supervision is provided from 2:00pm – 5:00pm, for students who need to stay later than their scheduled dismissal time. A time to play, read, rest, draw, spend time with friends, and enjoy a light snack
