About Us
The Seedling School provides a safe, nurturing and enriching preschool environment to a diverse community of children. By recognizing different learning styles, our qualified teachers foster the joy of learning through a balance of academics and creative play. In partnership with each family, we strive to develop social skills, citizenship, and moral values. Schedule
The Seedling School regular hours are 9:00AM to 2:30PM. We generally follow the academic calendar of Foothill Country Day School (September through June).
Younger students may attend as little as two days a week (Tues/Thur or Mon/Wed). Older students are required to attend 5 days a week for curriculum continuity and preparation for kindergarten.
Before and after school care and enrichment classes are offered each day, and can extend the day from 6:30AM - 6:00PM.
Special Programs
The Seedling School offers special programs during school breaks. These programs are open to the public, and are focused on a particular theme.
SUMMER 2013
This summer, we will be offering a unique program called "On the Farm". All of the activities "on the farm" will be fun and exciting. Children will learn songs, cook healthy snacks, and participate in math and science activities, including planting a garden. A petting zoo will even visit the school! Two sessions will be offered, but each session will offer different activities, allowing children to attend both if they desire.
On the Farm -- Session I Monday - Friday, June 17 through July 19
(closed for Independence Day)
9:00 - 2:30 p.m. with before and after school care available.
On the Farm -- Session II Monday - Friday, July 22 through August 23
9:00 - 2:30 p.m. with before and after school care available.

If you would like to place your child on The Seedling School's interest list, please complete our enrollment application and return it with a non-refundable, $80 application fee. The application form is available at the front office, or you can download it HERE
The Seedling School welcomes children at the age of 2, however, they must be toilet trained.
