Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is Foothill’s number one fund raising priority. The Annual Fund provides critical support to the School's annual operating budget by offsetting expenses not covered by tuition and the income from our modest endowment. The difference between the cost of educating a Foothill student and a fair tuition rate (on average $1,200 to $1,800 less than other independent schools with similar programs) results in a tuition gap that must be covered with voluntary tax-deductible contributions.

Gifts to Foothill’s Annual Fund directly and immediately benefit each student and faculty member as well as every program on campus. The primary goal of the Annual Fund is 100% participation by Foothill families each year -- each member of the Foothill community is encouraged to make a gift to the Annual Fund each year in order to ensure the financial health of the school.  Monetary gifts may be made by check, cash, credit card, or the transfer of stock.  In addition, you may set up automatic gift giving through your checking or savings account by clicking on ACH, downloading the form, filling in your information, and mailing it back to Foothill Country Day School, 1035 West Harrison Street, Claremont, CA 91711, attn: Sue Downey, Director of Development.

Matching Gifts: Many corporations will match on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis the contributions their employees make to Foothill Country Day School. Please inquire about this option with your employer.

Planned Gifts come in many forms and offer you the potential to increase spendable income while reducing taxes on income and capital gains. In this way, you can also lower your estate and inheritance taxes. To ensure your family and other loved ones benefit the most, you should examine planned giving opportunities with Foothill Country Day School.
